Visitations

SCHIRR, MATTHEW T.; of Rochester, MI; born January 9, 1978; beloved and cherished son of Carol and Tom (Debbie) Schirr; left this earth to join our Lord on August 14, 2012. Dear brother of Marcus (Adrian), Mitchell and Mallory (Dustin); and adored uncle of Michael, Hunter and Ruby; treasured grandson of JoAnn Stange and Virginia Schirr; and loved dearly by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his loving grandfathers, William "Red" Schirr and Carl "Duke" Stange. Matthew will be forever remembered for his extraordinary personality and the undeniable love that he held for his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Blvd., Rochester, MI 48307, on Friday, August 17, 2012, 3 to 9 p.m. A short visitation will also be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Saint John Lutheran Church in Rochester, followed by a service at 11 a.m.
