Ecarius, William James, age 73 of Rochester Hills and Charleston, S.C., July 17, 2012. Loving husband of Daretha “Dee” for 31 years. Dear father of Saundra (Frank) Stack, LtCol Brian (CDR Karen, USN) Ecarius, U.S. Marine Corps, Rhonda Spina, Jerry (Deborah) Fisher and Todd Fisher. Cherished grandfather of Kathryn, Matthew, Brian, Aidan, Bain, Emma, Justin, Alex, Krystin, Jessica, Joshua, Nicholas. Great grandfather of Addison. Also survived by his loving pets Coco and Dapper. William “Bill” was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a graduate of University of Michigan and retired in January 1993 from GM Corporation Sales and Service; thereafter, he formed the W&E Automotive Consulting Company from which he retired in 2001. Funeral Mass, Saturday, July 21, 2012, 10:00 am with an instate time of 9:30 am at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 771 Old Perch Road, Rochester Hills. The family will receive friends Friday 3-8 pm at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut, Rochester. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society or the Michigan Humane Society.
