I was shocked to hear of John's death, but grateful that he had given his life to Jesus. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit of God would bring healing and comfort to the extended Gongos family. He was a great schooltime friend to me. I will miss him. God bless.

I was very saddened to hear about John's passing. John was an exceptional leader and a kind man. I will always remember him as a person who gave me a chance right out of college and believed in me and all of the other young employees at his company. John led monthly company meetings where he demonstrated his humor and compassion for all his employees. He will be missed!

Although I was never honored to have met John, I know your exceptional son, Austin. John leaves many wonderful legacies as I see from this guestbook, many of which I will never have known, but the most blessed in our lives, will be the children that he raised, who have been a living testimony of his love for Jesus Christ. My children, Tyler and Zachary, have a joyful desire to be in relationship with our Lord because of the sacrifice and guidance your son has given to them over the years. I have thanked God many times over for his impact. Our thoughts and heavy-hearted prayers go out to your family.

To everyone in the Gongos family and at Gongos Research: I was absolutely shocked and very saddened to hear about John's passing. He was one of the nicest people I've ever known, an excellent manager, and a creative and talented researcher - I know we will all miss him greatly.

We lived next to the Gongos family in the 1960's. My Mom and I were recently talking about the old neighborhood (Strub Rd)and I was telling her that "Johnny" Gongos taught me to ride a bike. I think he was 4 and I was 5. He was so nice even then and it seems that never changed. I am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathy to the Gongos Family and everyone at Gongos Research. John was such an inspiring leader and fun teacher ... I still remember his wise advice for my first clinic research which I was super nervous: Don't screw up! We got a good laugh.
John's spirits will always be with us.

I owe a lot to John and the company he founded. John hired me fresh out of Miami University. I had the best time and learned a lot working at Gongos. I now find myself working for Microsoft on the launch of Windows 8 - I often tap into the skills I learned at Gongos today. This is a great loss and there really are no words. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I owe a lot to John and the company he founded. I still remember the Friday afternoon breaks in the conference room. I remember telling John that I could not go and buy the beer, because I wasn't 21. And that surprised him.
