Reinke, Elizabeth; age 89 of Waterford, formerly of Dearborn. Passed away August 13, 2012 at Mendelson Assisted Living – Lourdes Senior Community in Waterford. Loving wife of Joseph F. Reinke for 58 years. Dear mother of Joseph F. Jr. (Jane) Reinke, Robert C. (Cathy) Reinke, Mary E. (Lawrence) Marcinkowski, and the late Michael G. and Thomas A. Reinke. Devoted grandmother of Joseph, Jessie, Angela, and Elizabeth Reinke, Melissa and Philip Marcinkowski. Sister of Frances Juszczyk. Elizabeth was one of seventeen children born to Frank and Mary Wasko. Elizabeth graduated from Saint Joseph's High School in Emmitsburg, Maryland in 1944, which was run by the Daughters of Charity Order. Her sister Margaret was one of the Daughters of Charity which was known for its nursing care and helping the poor. They helped Elizabeth and her sisters attain positions at Providence Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who was devoted to her faith, very active in her church, and never missed a daily Mass. She gave her family the gift of a religious life. Her smile, humor, and all the love she gave to her family and friends will be missed. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 – 11 a.m. with and in-state of 10:30 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7469 Calhoun, Dearborn. The family will receive friends Friday 2 – 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., Orion. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
